Label: TYM RECORDINGS

About:

Channeling the energy and atmosphere of grubby warehouse raves and early acid house, 'Rave '92 (Everybody Dancing)' is the second single from new Scottish DJ and producer ARKLEY.

Taking its name from the seminal dance compilation of the same name, 'Rave '92 (Everybody Dancing)', continues to demonstrate ARKLEY's unique sampling style inspired by The Avalanches and The Dust Brothers.  Sliced-up vocal samples of UK rave MCs and house divas are layered on top of an instant-classic M1 organ bass line and driving drum track.  It's a journey back to a classic era of dance music, but with a throughly 21st century twist.

Once again produced by ARKLEY in his home studio and mastered by Mike Marsh (The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, The Avalanches), 'Rave '92 (Everybody Dancing)' has received early support from Judge Jules on his Global Warm Up Radio Show and was made "tip of the week" on BBC Introducing in ARKLEY's home region.

The new single follows multiple plays on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, as well as features in DMC World, Mundane Magazine, EDM Lab and the Yorkshire Post, for his debut 'Music (Over & Over)', which was also used on primetime BBC News to soundtrack scenes from Leeds Festival.

'Rave '92 (Everybody Dancing)' again shows ARKLEY's instinctive talent for producing infectious and uplifting tracks that sound timeless yet utterly fresh.
